A romantic trip to Vietnam

While for most Vietnam is primarily associated with endless rice paddies and simple wide brim straw hats, but turns out it could be a terrific place for a romantic trip. Lush jungles, endless beaches and ultra-modern luxury hotels will provide you with plenty of reasons to endure a long flight.

We could talk for a long time about the rich culture and history of Vietnam, its original culinary traditions and unusual customs, but what is really attracting the tourists from all over the world is more than 2000 miles of stunning beaches, which can be enjoyed 365 days a year.

Since the country stretches from north to south along the South China Sea, you can experience pleasant and even hot weather in some parts of Vietnam, no matter what time of the year you happen to be traveling. However, don’t even dream about trying to explore the country by a car – travel services in Vietnam do not recognize any international driver’s licenses so renting a car is extremely problematic, moreover the contempt of the local pedestrians to any motorized form of vehicle will quickly turn off any Westerner.

There are, of course, alternatives to cars: if you are really adventurous, try renting a scooter (fortunately, laws and moral values steered clear of this aspect of daily life in Vietnam), and travelers will appreciated very decent and well-developed network of domestic airlines. The prices of the domestic flights are so inexpensive that it would be really wasteful not to take advantage of them and not to see all the best romantic places of Vietnam.

honeymoon in vietnamFor example, Dalat, situated in the mountains and surrounded by lush jungles and waterfalls will surely provide an aesthetic enjoyment for many. And virgin nature and clean fresh air of the area isn’t the only thing worth mentioning here: the atmosphere of the city, built by the French colonialists, is very reminiscent of artistic Paris; it even boasts its own Eiffel Tower.

Dalat is so charming and natural, that it never even occurs to newlywed Vietnamese couples to travel to Paris to find romance – in fact, everything you need for your honeymoon is just nearby.

And for those couples who are primarily looking for an opportunity to simply be together and enjoy the sea and the sun, the undisputed favorite is the resort town of Fantin in the south. It is known among the western travelers as “Vietnamese Hawaii”, and when you experience it for yourself, you can see that they are not exaggerating: miles of endless beaches with gentle and colorful sand, luxury hotels and, of course, many culinary delights in local eateries are making this former fishing village one of the most desirable places for a romantic getaway.

Additional tours: one of the most popular tours that are offered by travel companies in Vietnam is a visit to a temple complex of Angkor Wat in neighboring Cambodia. To get to the center of the ancient civilization that was discovered in the jungle in the middle of the XIX century, you will have to travel by either a bus or a plane, but all the inconveniences are more than compensated by the sight of the majestic structures that were recognized as one of the wonders of the world.
